PRESS RELEASE
Join the Chinese
American Scholars and Professionals Association of Florida at the Hilton,
350 S. North Lake Blvd, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32701, for our 21st
annual conference on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 8:15 AM to 5 PM. This
conference focuses on the pressing issues of health care facing this nation
today, health care access and affordability. Our Keynote Speaker, Dr.
Antonia Novello, served as the fourteenth Surgeon General of the United
States. Her experience offers an in depth look at health care policies and
reform. Her presentation will be followed by a discussion of healthcare
issues by top-notch doctors from Florida and Washington D.C., who will offer
their various perspectives on the topic.
The purpose of the conference is two-fold: (1) to discuss our pressing
health care reform issues from the medical, legal, and administrative
perspectives; (2) to understand new treatment modalities and technologies in
medicine. One should expect to learn about what are new in medicine and how
they will affect health care policy and reform in the future.
