The Art and Science of Urban Living Conference and Sister City Symposium are organized by the Chinese-American Academic & Professional Association in Southeastern United States (CAPASUS), proudly taking part in commemorating the 40 years anniversary of the sister city relation between Taipei and Atlanta. Come and learn how two sister cities – Atlanta and Taipei evolved during the last 40 years on 8/2, Friday, at the Sister City Symposium at Georgia Tech Nanotechnology Research Center. Three speakers from Taiwan - the formal deputy mayor of Taipei, an urban issue  commentator /author, and a renowned architect will meet with Atlanta City Planning Commissioner Tim Keane and Atlanta BeltLine founder Ryan Gravel. They will recount the stories of urban transformation and project new planning visions of both cities. Free admission: Register Here 

On 8/3, Saturday, at Atlanta Marriott Northeast, the three speakers from Taiwan will extend their talk from the day before. They will be joined by six other speakers from Atlanta area, including the keynote speaker, Georgia Tech Professor, Ellen Dunham-Jones.
