CALL FOR DONATIONS

Dear CASPAF Member:

You have heard the awful news.

  ▼ Donate Online ▼

For two days in August, Taiwan was ruthlessly battered by Typhoon Morakot. Winds, floods and mudslides of a magnitude not seen in more than 50 years have claimed hundreds of lives and displaced thousands. From this part of the world, we have watched helplessly; one heartbreaking image after another of the terrible destruction. That is, until now.

In response to a request for assistance from the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Miami (TECO), CASPAF is mobilizing to raise funds from its members to help with Taiwan's relief and reconstruction efforts. Please consider this your opportunity to help in a meaningful way towards restoring normalcy to the lives of countless families, friends and communities, even some of our own.

Please mail or deliver your cash, check or bank draft made payable to "TECO in Miami," to 2333 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Suite 610, Coral Gables, FL 33134. Please note that the donation is for the "Typhoon Morakot Relief Fund." You will receive an official receipt from Taiwan's Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"Pain is inevitable but suffering is optional." Let us prove the wisdom of this saying, attributed to our heritage. Let us do our utmost to help Taiwan recover, rebuild and rebound.

Thank you in advance for your donation.

Sincerely,

C.T. Hsu,
(徐祖慈)  FAIA, LEED AP
President
